Subminiature-D (Sub-D) Air-Service Cable Assemblies

Subminiature-D Air Cable Assemblies are 10-feet long and terminated with industry standard molded male/female subminiature-D connectors.  They have straight through, pin-to-pin wiring. Please contact us for special cable assembly configurations. The female cable connectors mate directly onto the atmosphere-side of Subminiature-D UHV feedthroughs, HV feedthroughs, HV Bulkhead-D feedthroughs.

Air-Service Connectors accept up to 20 AWG wires. Contacts are gold plated and the shell has a tin finish. Plastic D-subminiature hoods are a one-piece, unshielded design with long knurled thumb screws, a side snap-lock, and a metal screw down strain relief.

Air-Service Gender Adapters are offered for use with Accu-Glass Products subminiature-D feedthroughs with male pins on both sides, to correct pin numbering to the standard subminiature-D configuration. (Pin 1 reverses position from vacuum side to air side due to the male to male configuration.) Air-service gender adapters are made with Delrin® material.

Air-Service Sub-D Dust Covers are made from a general black plastic and cover unused connectors to protect from damage and contaminants. These do not fit onto feedthrough flanges.
